EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY – THE POWER OF MOVEMENT
Our practice focuses on the use of movement and exercise as medicine. Through the science of physiology, biomechanics, neurology and psychology we can help treat a wide range of health conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, cancer, heart and lung conditions and mental health.
But this isn’t just about managing illness & injury – we are equally dedicated to preventative practices that allow you to harness your body’s full potential to perform at your physical peak. If you’re looking to optimise your overall health for whatever stage of life you’re at, we have just the right program for you.
All patients welcome – no referral required
We accept all patients regardless of referral status and private health fund rebates are available dependent on your own policy’s restrictions. A referral is not essential to becoming one of our clients, however should you be eligible for rebates associated with Medicare or the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will need to speak with your GP about arranging a suitable referral or care plan for you. If you’re seeking our help in relation to a workplace injury, we will need a referral from your GP as well as the details of your insurer and claim.
Getting to know you
Most of our clients start off with a one-on-one consultation – this allows us to assess you on an individual basis and create a strategy that’s best for you.
Setting your health goals
In your first consult, we’ll discuss your physical health goals and other wellbeing issues you’re experiencing. This allows us to formulate the best combination of strategies.
Let’s get better together
Based on the plan we’ve created with you, we will usually seek to see you on a regular basis over the short term. We’ll be able to guide your prescription, make specific modifications to ensure its ongoing effectiveness and deal with any changes that occur along the process.
Here for your lifelong wellbeing
Ultimately, we’re here for your long-term health. We’re invested in your continued improvement, and we want to support your lifelong wellness. Once you meet a health goal, we can help you deal with others you might have! This is what we mean when we say we want to help you to get better, stay better, live better.
